Adoptable Dogs

Buck

Hi! My name is Buck! I’m a six-year-old American Bulldog. I was rescued from a shelter in Kentucky and brought to North Carolina by a very dedicated animal control officer. I love to cuddle, make new friends and I’m great with kids. My foster mom calls me a “bulldozer of love!” I’m working hard everyday to make friends but I still get a little anxious!  I’m a very good listener and am perfectly crate trained. I just want to hangout with you anywhere as long as I have a place to lay.

Crocs

Hi! My name is Crocs! I’m a two-and-a-half-year-old Plott Hound Mix. I was rescued from a backyard in Wake Forest after my previous owners kept me chained up. Now I’m learning what it’s like to be a happy and healthy dog. I LOVE making human friends and dog friends alike. I’m silly and easy going! I’m crate trained and my foster mom says I’m super food motivated! Whatever that means. Just gimme all of the treats…oh and please. :)

Elroy

Hi! My name is Elroy! I’m a one-year-old Pit Bull mix. I was rescued from a shelter in Tarboro just like my furbuddy Odie. It was a scary time for me because I was on their kill list. But things have been great for me lately! I have made so many new cool friends at my foster mom's house! I love to play, chase and have a lot of puppy energy! My foster mom and I are working on not having accidents in my crate but she says I’m getting better over time and I cant wait to grow and be your perfect furbaby!

Pearl

Hi! My name is Pearl! I’m a three-year-old Pocket Pit mix! I need a new home so let me tell you why I’m the best candidate for your next furbaby position! I love everyone I meet. I love to give kisses. I have a sweet and energetic personality. If you need a professional reference, my foster mom will tell you I’m a GREAT cuddler! The best, even! My other talents are that I’m perfectly crate trained and a really good listener. If you adopt me, I will roll around on the ground with my other dog friends and kids too. I will make a great addition to your family! Thank you for your time and for taking my candidacy into consideration.

Cleo

Hi! My name is Cleo! I’m a 2-year-old Great Dane, Dalmatian mix. I’m super sweet and everyone says I don't know my own size but that’s just because I think all dogs are created equally and anyone can be a friend! Although I’m not perfect, new things and loud sounds do make me a little nervous and I can get a little grumpy around food but I’m a very good listener and I’m striving everyday to be better. I’m learning how to cuddle and get a little anxious on beds. I love to play in the yard with my Foster brothers and sisters. I also love kids. I am crate trained.

Eeyore

Hi! My name is Eeyore! I’m a four-year-old hound mix. I was found wandering around Durham. I’m super sweet and love people! I’m so happy I was found because I just want to love and be loved! I’m a little older than the other fosters but I’m excited to hear from you and love everyone I meet!

Odie

Hi! My name is Odie! I came from a shelter in Tarboro. I’m a two-year-old hound mix. I love to make all kinds of new friends, especially kids and other dogs. I love to run around the yard with all my friends. I’m crate trained and enjoy being part of a family. I’m obedient and a very good listener! I can't wait to cuddle up with my new forever parents!

Wendy

Hi! My name is Wendy! I am a two-year-old Pocket Pit mix. I was rescued from a local Tarboro shelter. I have a ruptured doggy ACL, called a CCL so I can't really walk, but I’m DETERMINED to live my best dog life so I will scoot my way around the house. I love attention and will be a great fit for any home! I’m working on being house trained, but my foster mom says I’ve been making a lot of progress!
